Tonight we did not go on an outreach. Instead we stayed at the World Impact center and had an extended time of worship, teaching, response, and most of all- freedom! God did some incredible things tonight in our students and staff. There was a lot of freedom from sin, distractions, unforgiveness, hurts, broken relationships, doubts, and a lot more. If you are a parent, please ask your kids to tell you about tonight and what God did in their lives. Many of them expressed a desire to talk to you about it already, but may need some extra help from you to make that happen.
Thanks so much for everyone's prayers. Tonight was a testament to what God can do when his people are praying. Go God!

I am continuing to pray and especially as the week comes to a close that those changes the Lord brought out would be lasting....We are praying again today!
ReplyDeleteI too prayed for lasting, heartfelt change that extends beyond the emotion of the night, when they return to their homes and their friends. As I prayed, I kept seeing the flames of the holy spirit over their heads! :-) God bless you all for taking them and may they come home ready to walk daily with the Lord with a new passion for Him and His Word and maybe a new desire for serving Him in Modesto.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord....Gods tells us several times of this goal to turn the hearts of the children to there parents, and the hearts of parents to there children....And we will continue to pray for the growth that we have experienced before, as GOD works in the hearts of His children....
